Who I Am (POST ON EXAM)

My name is Christopher Lopez, I'm seventeen, and i'm a product of Durham, N.C. I was born in the capital of the state, Raleigh in Rex hospital. Early in my life i lived in Garner and Clayton but when I was five my family finally settled in Durham. At the time I live with my mother, father, and brother Ryan. We all lived together until I was ten years old and my parents got a separation that eventually finalized in a divorce. When I was in grade school I attended Eno Valley and Hillandale elementary, then moving onto Carrington middle school and now im finishing my senior year in high school. Since I can remember I've always traveled to New York City atleast once a year, if not multiple times. My dad, Miguel Lopez, is from Brooklyn, NY and would often take the family there to visit my grandmother and my cousins and aunts. Sometimes my Aunt Sabrina would take me and my cousins to Times Square and we would spend the day visiting shops and the famous "ESPN center" they have there. I always loved going there cause they had an arcade and what little boy doesn't like to spend his day playing video games? Anyways going to New York has always been something i've done and i often think about relocating there after im done with college. When i was about 13 my father and step mom took Me, Ryan, Jose, Jayden, and Jason on a family carnival cruise for 3 nights and 4 days. Those are all my brothers. When on the ship we cruised from the Florida Keys to the beautiful bay of Cozumel, Mexico. I had never been to Mexico before and the beaches and sites were quite interesting and nice. But my favorite part of the cruise was the fact that me and my two older brothers, Ryan and Jose, got to share a room without parents. Our room was a level below our parents and brothers and on the other side of the ship. It was pretty cool to me then cause i didnt have a bed time and they had a 24 hour pizzaria and ice cream stand that we always went to at random times. When we got back to the States we stayed in Miami for a couple days with my Grandma Elba. That had to be one of the best vacations of all time. But that vacation helped me realize how important family really is and if no one is there for you, you'll always have them. Now a days i dont go on as many vactions as I used to because im always keeping myself busy between work, school, wrestling season, and my girlfriend Anna. Ive been working at my job Little Caesars for over a year and even though its not my favorite job it provides a paycheck every other week so I cant complain. Currently im in my senior year and I honestly cant wait to graduate so I can live the "College Experience" and learn how to be an adult. This will be my second season wrestling and i havent enjoyed any other sport more then this one. Its not just the winning aspect and the sport itself, its the sense of having a second family. The team is like a big family and we all support each other and want the best for one another. Last year I didnt do the best but i had a decent record for a first year and it was 8-5. Me an my girlfriend Anna have been dating for 4 months and shes a really amazing person. But if you were to really ask me who i am as a person i would just say that im a joker, a hard worker, an athlete,  a serious and weird person at the same time. I like to joke around and have fun a lot but when its time to work and get down to business, i do it. Now its been 4 months since i wrote this, couple  things have changed. I recently found out that i cant get into any of the universities that i want to attend due to my GPA. So i have decided to enlist into the U.S. Army Reserves for 6 years while i attend Durham Tech Community College. Me and my girlfriend Anna are still together and its been a total of 8 months with her. Wrestling season ends in approximately one month, and so does my wrestling career. Kind of sad but also a little relived because now i can start saving more money and start working 6 days a week. After i graduate from boot camp ill come back home for 14 days. After that ill ship off to my advanced training school for about 6 weeks. Then ill come home and be home for good unless i get deployed. I cant wait to graduate from high school. Im beyond ready and i could have graduated in 2 weeks but i have to stay a whole semester just to take english.
